Character: Timmy Turner

Character Notes:
History: Timmy is the only child of Mum and Dad. As discovered in later episodes they were expecting him to be a girl, hence why his signature hat and shirt are pink. When Timmy was growing up his father used to video record everything and did not want to miss a waking second of him growing up. Mum however was in despair, wanting time with just Dad so they could have some sort of a life back. She manages to trick Dad into hiring a babysitter so they can go out. Of course the babysitter is evil and is forever trying to make his life a living hell. This starts the downward spiral of his parents becoming inattentive because of their new found freedom of having a babysitter and Vicky making his life horrible.

Timmy’s life was made a miserable living hell and it is because of his parents’ inattentiveness and the fact that his baby sitter is evil that he is granted Fairy Godparents Cosmo and Wanda. They are able to grant his wishes within limits of ‘Da Rules’ and without anyone other than him knowing of their existence. If anyone was to discover their existence then they would be taken away from him forever and his mind would be wiped so that Fairy Godparents existence is a secret. Of course this isn’t an easy task, what with a crazy obsessed fairy crazy teacher trying to expose their existence at every turn. The crazy teacher is Mr Crocker. He became suspicious of Timmy having fairies when he brought a dinosaur into class for show and tell. Knowing that there is no way a child could have a dinosaur without magic, he sets out to catch Timmy’s fairies.

Through his wishes he encounters many issues that not only affect him, but others around him like when he wished he’d never been born. A canonly important wish is where he goes back in time to discover why Crocker is extra mean on March 15th and discovers that 30 years ago Mr Crocker had Cosmo and Wanda as his fairies. It turns out that 30 years ago Crocker loses his fairies by accidently exposing their existence. Timmy of course tries to ‘help’ but ends up being the cause as to why the fairies are exposed. Other mishaps happen because of his wishes such as when he wished he had never been born or when he wished he was popular and almost lost Cosmo and Wanda forever. Usually things work out fine somehow but a lot of the wishes he makes cause mishaps or problems. A few problem wishes to list a few:

• Time traveling wishes (turning Crocker into what he is today, causing Dad to rule Dimmsdale thus loosing Cosmo and Wanda),

• Making everyone look the same, so everyone becomes gray blobs

• Wishing it was Christmas everyday, causing the other holiday spirits to become jealous of Santa.

• Wishing that his life was an action packed movie, causing Jorgen to become a super-villain and kidnap Cosmo, Wanda and the other fairies.

• Changing Vicky into a child so that he can get revenge, causing Cosmo and Wanda to become her fairies instead.

• Everyones Halloween costumes become real.

• Wishing that the genders were separated, creating Himsdale and Hersdale, almost causing Cupid to die because there is no love.

• Becoming the most wanted person kid in the world, literally being wanted by everyone including the FBI in the sense that he’s a criminal.

• Accidently wishing the evil Nega Chin out of the comic book, causing him to have to wish super powers for Mum and Dad

• Wishing himself into being a car to spend time with Dad

• Everyone is quiet, no one can hear him thus making it hard for him to unwish the wish

• Imaginary friend Gary is wished to be real. He causes issues for Timmy and is much cooler than him. Hard to get rid of because he is part of Timmy because he’s from his mind. He can use Cosmo and Wanda for wishes too.

• Mind reading powers. Crocker catches on that Timmy has this wish and tries to expose him and his fairies in front of the school.

• Everyone becomes a superhero, unfortunately this of course creates villains too. Can’t be unwished and Timmy and his friends have to defeat the bad guys using their powers.

• Wishing he was a baby to escape bullies. Of course he can’t unwish this wish easily because he’s a baby.

• Wishing he was never born because he feels unappreciated.

• Fairy-versary muffin (Abracatastrophe) – caused monkies to rule the world and then Mr Crocker to rule the world.

Timmy is normally always able to make things right in the end, even when it seems impossible. Most of the wishes are done on a whim without really considering the consequences as the list above of a listed few show.

Timmy Turner | The Fairly Odd Parents - Reserved 3/?

Timmys future according to the end of Channel Chasers is that he grows up and has two children of his own. He becomes the inattentive parent, who hires an evil baby sitter in the same way his parents did to him. He also does not have Cosmo and Wanda as his Godparents. This is set 20 years into the future. In Grow Up Timmy Turner, Timmy is a 23 year old who still lives with his parents and is a manchild. This movie sees him grow up and fall in love with Tootie and he’s able to keep Cosmo and Wanda as his Fairy Godparents thanks to a loophole. This movie is only set 13 years into the future.

Personality: Timmy is a child that as the theme song to the series states is ‘an average kid that no one understands’. He’s not the most popular at school, but he has friends. He however would love to be noticed by his popular peers and of course popular. He would particularly love for Trixie Tang (his crush) to notice him but because of his low social standing he’d be lucky if she remembered his name.

He does however have a secret being that he has Fairy Godparents called Cosmo and Wanda. They grant his every wish (within limits and following ‘Da Dules’). He can at times be very selfish with his wishes, but normally he chooses the right path and corrects his wrong doings. He’s pretty much like a regular ten year old, full of energy, spontaneous and doesn’t think about the consequences of his actions until later. He has a very short attention span and is easily distracted; he doesn’t like to be bored and needs to be entertained.

His main excuse or reasoning behind things tends to be due to the internet. “Uh….internet?” This tends to be enough to get whoever has asked him about something off his back. Despite being at school every day Timmy constantly gets Fs and very seldom gets good grades.

Timmy can be mean at times, this can be seen mostly towards Tootie. Tootie is a girl who is madly in love with him and stalks him. He tends to be the main cause for her being sad, but there are times where Timmy does nice things for her too. He can be a shallow person, but overall he tends to do the right thing when he is mean. He is a hero type character and is courageous, even when he is afraid. Another thing that should be noted is that Timmy seems to be more intelligent than most of the adults in his world.

First Person (entry type):

[Video Entry commenced…]

[A young boy with buck teeth and a pink hat is seen in what can be assumed is his bedroom. He seems frustrated as he walks into his room. He sits on his bed and throws down a pop quiz with a F on it]

This stinks! I’m sick and tired of always getting Fs!

[He looks at a little pumpkin shaped candy holder. He smiles, forgetting the F on the pop quiz] But at least it’s Halloween soon! I can’t wait to go trick or treating!

[He gets up and walks towards the pumpkin. He picks it up] I ‘ll need a cool costume too. [He smiles again] Halloween this year will be awesome!

[He puts the pumpkin down and seemingly starts talking to himself again] I’m still wondering who that kid was. I mean I’m in class every day and he spoke funny. Mr Crocker seemed really weird around him too. Huh, I wonder who he was. He’s not been back to class again either.

[He looks towards a fishbowl on the chest of draws by his bed. He seems to be talking to his fish] Weird huh? [He changes the subject back to Halloween] I guess I better think of a cool costume for Halloween! It has to be something really cool. I want Trixie to notice me and maybe if my costume is really awesome she will!

Third Person: Timmy was bored in class, a normal occurrence. Mr Crocker had confronted him already this morning about Fairy Godparents, again a normal occurrence. He’d sworn black and blue that he had no idea what his teacher was talking about and of course distracted him with ‘Look happy children playing in the hallway’ to make a grand escape.

Things were a little different when Mr Crocker went away on vacation for six months. The substitute had been great and for once he actually got decent grades and not Fs. Sure, the bullying with Francis and Trixie ignoring him continued but the time without Crocker was a blast. Of course things went back to normal once Crocker returned. He started getting Fs and of course the fairy confrontations started again.

Once the school bell went he breathed a sigh of relief. It was finally time for him to go home. He picked up his stuff (pink and green eraser and pencil) and began to head towards the door. No sooner had he taken a few steps forward he found Mr Crocker looming over the top of him. Sighing again Timmy prepared himself to lie through his teeth again that he did not have fairies.
